
JD Rowan is a UK based illustrator working in the fields of narrative illustration, concept art and game design. When they are not working on personal projects exploring nostaligc fantasy settings, and pagan folklore, they are teaching Illustration and its related disciplines at HE and FE level.
In 2022, they completed their BA (Hons) in Illustration, graduating from the University of Plymouth, and in 2023 they completed their MA in Worldbuilding with Creature Design at Leeds Arts University. They have plans to further their research and study into a PhD in the near future, exploring the importance of play and using games within education settings, a topic they focused on throught both their undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
